Have you ever been told you can be the best? I have, and I think it’s a myth. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not trying to be negative; I’m just trying to be real. However, it does no one any good to get some non-authentic and unrealistic compliment.

I don’t know any of us regular peeps who can beat Michael Jordan in a one-on-one match.

I don’t know any of us regular peeps who can box with Mike Tyson.

I don’t know any of us regular peeps who can beat Serena in tennis.

So what am I getting at? Why are you insulting us, Bryan? Well, I’m not. Here is what I think. While I think we can’t all be the best, I believe we can be our personal best! Working at our personal best is the ultimate goal. Work daily to improve, grow and evolve in your life to become your own personal best. Work on all aspects- Spiritual, Mental, and Physical. That authentic “personal best person” is what the world needs.

In the attached clip from Craig Groeschel’s leadership podcast, Tim Tebow is an excellent resource on this topic. Watch the episode or click the link below to listen on Apple Podcasts.
